Being a Catering Director requires you to be an outgoing, self-motivated and extremely coach-able individual. You must have the ability to easily learn our client’s catering needs. You must also be highly perceptive and flexible in your interactions with customers, with the ability to accurately read each situation. It is also important that you have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to easily establish rapport with a diverse range of people. The position also requires you to serve in Operations as a Team Member.

All Directors will partner with the Owner/Operator to develop a Directional Plan to help chart their growth and development annually, because we believe that what we can offer you is equally as important as what you can offer us.

Position Type: Full-time

Pay Type: $14 per hour + commission

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Representative of Chick-fil-A and responsible for building relationships throughout the community with clients in regards to our catering opportunities
  • Serves as a Team Member in Operations for 10-15 hours per week
  • Assist with Chick-fil-A’s catering program and oversee fulfillment, delivery, and execution of catering orders
  • Thoroughly check catering orders before they leave the restaurant
  • Follows up with customers to inquire about their experience
  • Flexible availability to deliver orders to residential and professional locations as needed
  • Must be an excellent communicator in varying guest environments
  • Must exhibit consistent professional behavior
  • Trusted to exemplify the service and hospitality behaviors known to be true of Chick-fil-A
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, which includes, but is not limited to, standing for 8 hours and lifting up to 50lbs
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Follow Chick-fil-A’s operational policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have prior leadership experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • May be required to provide motor vehicle history from the DMV
  • Must have valid auto insurance
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Experience working in corporate/professional environments
  • Proven ability to display high levels of professionalism, honor, dignity, and respect
  • Basic ability to organize and track completed work
  • Open Availability days, nights, and Saturdays
  • Sales experience is a plus
